FlightScope Showcases New Technologies At 2016 Japan Golf Fair Leading golf technology company demos latest innovations in ball tracking and data monitoring tech at annual golf show in Asia
ORLANDO, Fla. – February 18, 2016 – FlightScope, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of 3D Doppler club and ball tracking monitors, golf radars and launch monitors for sports, is presenting its latest innovations in golf technology this week at the 2016 Japan Golf Fair. During the show FlightScope is demonstrating its new FocusBand integration for the first time overseas, and showcasing an update to its firmware that allows for a short distance setup.
FlightScope first debuted its integration with FocusBand, a wearable, motion based, mind-sensing headset at the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla. in January. FocusBand measures brain waves and assists in self training of the mental state during your shot routine, using real time audio-visual neurofeedback. The FlightScope and FocusBand integration allows golfers to compare their state of mind synchronized with real-time ball flight and club data.
“Following a very successful debut of the FlightScope and FocusBand integration last month, we’re really looking forward to showing attendees from across the world the critical impact technology has on players’ mental game,” said Henri Johnson, Inventor and CEO of FlightScope.
Additionally, FlightScope is presenting a new short indoor mode feature to its firmware and software settings. The short indoor mode allows golfers to retrieve accurate data readings with a smaller amount of space between the net/screen and the FlightScope unit. Prior to the new short distance mode update, users needed at least 21 feet for accurate feedback, but now only need 16 feet.
“In 2016 our team is focused on developing products that create a more personalized practice experience for the user, which I think is conveyed through new offerings we are highlighting at this year’s Japan Golf Fair,” adds Johnson. “It’s been a very successful first year of business since officially opening our Japan office, and our team is excited to continue helping local golfers achieve new personal highs with FlightScope technology.”
Attendees can test and preview FlightScope’s new products at booth D-36 in the Tokyo International Exhibit Center on February 19-20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and February 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission for all attendees is free.
